    A good harvest depends on the spring sowing. In March of this year, the project of Sino-German Resources Regeneration Base was selected into top 10 Sino-German economic cooperation projects. Later on October 10^th of local time, the seventh Chinese-German Forum for Economic and Technological Cooperation hold in Berlin brought a good news that two projects were signed by ZhongDe Metal Group, which was the only one having two signing projects in this forum.

    This session of the forum is jointly hosted by China the National Development and Reform Commission and Germany the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, senior officials from Chinese and German governments and the business communities of both countries jointly attend the forum. 32 cooperative projects are signed by two countries in fields of industry, information, energy, science and education, agriculture, aerospace, environmental protection and etc. Two projects signed by ZhongDe Metal Group and the German side are Water Treatment and Resources Utilization in Sino-German Metal Eco City signed with TU Darmstadt IWAR Institute, and Co-Constructing Sino-German Metal Eco City with Adlershof.

    On the basis of the Feasibility Study Report on Water Treatment and Resources Utilization in Sino-German Metal Eco City done, both sides plan to construct the first domestic wastewater recycling and solid waste comprehensive treatment system adopting German semicentralized supply and treatment systems, as a demonstration project achieving water supply and disposal, wastewater treatment and recycling, solid waste treatment and utilization. Meanwhile, an area is constructed for semicentralized wastewater treatment R&D and equipment production, to promote the treatment system in Guangdong and other regions in China.

    According to cooperation with Wista, the advanced experience on park management and innovative urbanization will be introduced from Germany to achieve integration of industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization and then boost regional economic development. Meanwhile, foreign advanced experience on industrial incubator construction is introduced to transform technological results into industrial products, promoting ecological development and traditional industrial transformation and upgrading.

    It is believed that both sides pay high attention to the two projects and the signing helps to take an important substantial step for Sino-German Metal Eco City construction and to further enhance confidence in its promotion.

    Under the political and diplomatic promotion by leaders of both countries, with the support of Guangdong provincial committee and government, Jieyang municipal committee and government, Sino-German Metal Eco City project enters a speed-up period of all-round cooperation with Germany, regards innovative cooperation as a golden key, focuses on the development of environmental protection and circular economy, fully explores Sino-German cooperative potential in depth, and tries to be the forerunner in new round of Sino-German high-level, multi-field and three-dimensional cooperation. 

    Chinese-German Forum for Economic and Technological Cooperation, formerly Chinese-German High-Tech Forum, was established by leaders of both countries in 1995. Up to now six sessions have been successfully hold and the seventh has a theme of innovation. Governments of both countries and all circles of the society pay high attention to this forum which plays an active role in promoting all fields of Sino-German economic and technological cooperation.
