On the morning of June 18, the commencement ceremony of four projects, including German Expects Service Base, HESE Conveying Equipment Production Base, Living Services Center (Commercial Centre), and Employee Community, was held in Sino-German Metal Eco City.Executive vice director of Jiedong District Lin Binghua presided at the commencement ceremony. Relevant leaders of Jiedong District and ZhongDe Metal Group, and representatives of German enterprises attended the activities.

At the commencement ceremony，director of Jiedong District Chen Jiapeng, executive vice director of NPC Standing Committee of Jiedong District Huang Jinxiong, president of the Metal Enterprises Union of Jieyang Wu Kedong,and CEO of MaschinenfabrikHese GmbH Andreas Lojewski launched the lucky pole for the commencement of the projects. The commencement of four projects is an important measure that Jieyang carries out the conference spirit of provincial party committee and provincial government promoting the revitalization and development of the eastern, western and northern of Guangdong. This marks another substantial progress achieved in Sino-German cooperation, and further promotes the construction of Sino-German Metal Eco City.

Norbert Ruthemeyer expresses in his speech that he was shocked at the high speed of the construction and the achievement of the park since he got to know the project of Sino-German Metal Eco City last year. Later he will continue to extensively promote Sino-German Metal Eco City and actively introduce German advanced enterprises in order to promote the cooperation and the mutual benefits between German enterprises and the local enterprises, and to create an international demonstration park of green industry.

As a representative of German entrepreneurswho make investments in the projects, Andreas Lojewskiexpresses in his speech thatMaschinenfabrikHese GmbH has one hundred years’ experience in developing conveying equipment. After settling in the park, Hese will introduce high-end equipment and technical team to promote the completion and the success of the projects.

President Wu Kedongbriefly introduces the basic situation of four projects and he expresses that he will cooperate with leaders at all levels to speed up the construction so as to make contribution to people as soon as possible.

The project of German Expects Service Baseis expected to be completed in November 2016 with an area of 500 mu and a planned investment of 400 million RMB. The project of HESE Conveying Equipment Production Base will invest 300 million RMB and its annual output value is expected to reach about 200 million RMB. Living Services Center project will be completed by the end of this year with an area of 200 thousand square metersand a total investment of 900 million RMB. Employee Community project will build dormitory buildings, apartment buildings and other supporting facilities with a planned investment of 400 million RMB, and it is expected to be completed at the end of 2014.
