The project of Sino-German Metal Eco-City makes a deep impression on Rosenbohm 

    Chairman of the board of German Chamber of Commerce in South &Southwest China, director of Technology Department of German Giesecke & DevrientRosenbohm expressed in an interview that although it was the first time that he had got involved in the project of Sino-German Metal Eco-City, it had already left a deep impression on him. He hopes a long-term cooperation with Jieyang, and brings more German enterprises and German technology to Sino-German Metal Eco-City and even China.

    Rosenbohm says that Jieyang is not unfamiliar to him because he has bought many products made in Jieyang before. He ismost impressed by the specialization of the project of Sino-German Metal Eco-City, the integrity of the planning and the great support of the government. He takes Jieyang Metal Surface Treatment Eco-industrial Park as an example, which is took as the first-phase project of Sino-German Metal Eco-City, it means the significance of environmental protection in the planning and the careful consideration about the park. Sino-German Metal Eco-City devotes to the education and the training, has a good location advantage and even takethe housing of the German expertsinto consideration . All these considerations as a whole leaves a deep impression on him.

    Because of these advantages Rosenbohm has great belief in this project. He says that the great support of the government and the strong organizingability of the MEUJ will lead to the success of the project. “German enterprises are seeking an appropriate place to get involved in such a big market in China, and I believe Sino-German Metal Eco-City is a good choice.”Rosenbohm says. Sino-German Metal Eco-City not only sets up a project but also builds up the friendship among government, enterprises and the MEUJ, especially the friendship between China and Germany. It symbolizes the increasingly stronger relationship.

    As for how to strengthen the cooperation, Rosenbohm says, “the German enterprises focus on long-term planning rather than focus on short-term benefits. We hope to have long-term cooperation with Jieyang through Sino-German Metal Eco-City to bring German technology and German market to China. We also hope that China could create a great platform for us to combine German technology with Chinese infrastructure and then create long-term benefits.”Rosenbohm thinks that enterprises should have more exchanges with each other apart from the exchanges between the both governments. “It is not an easy decision for German enterprises to settle in Sino-German Metal Eco-City, and only after they know more about this project and the support from the governments and the enterprises of two countries can German enterprises make their decisions.”Rosenbohm tells the reporter.
