We, together with the German entrepreneurs, are very glad with the planning of Sino-German Metal Eco-City, which is the reason why I come to Jieyang for the second time within such a short time. China gets close in touch with Germany in economic affairs. Both sides interact with each other very well and maintain a great negotiation in politics, indicating the close relationship between two countries.

    A great many of entrepreneurs attend the meeting. This is an excellent action as only the enterprises take part in the meeting, can we have a better knowledge of the progress of Sino-German cooperation and the specific solution. Germany is always the powerhouse that transfers its technology to China. Recently, more and more Chinese enterprises invest in Germany, which is welcomed by us in the long run. And this economic exchange will bring lots of benefits, sweeping out the previous prejudice for both sides to know more about each other and then establishing a relationship of mutual trust. Meanwhile, China and Germany share a number of similarities and complementarities with each other. In terms of the national economy, the benefits given by the Sino-German cooperation outweigh the negative impact brought by the competition. China and Germany are the big exporting countries in the world, playing the significant roles in economy. As for me, this cooperation paves way for both countries to the international division of labor. The increase of energy efficiency offers us large cooperating space, including raising the energy efficiency of enterprises and private householders. The Germany enterprises have their own specialties in these fields and we are very pleasant to cooperate with Chinese colleagues.             

    For the moment, we are trying our best to do well in Sino-German Metal Eco-City for the benefit of people and entrepreneurs. We are glad to see that the entrepreneurs devote themselves in the project and make an all-round consideration of the essential integral parts, like producing and personnel training. Besides, China takes Germany as the major cooperative partner. This is a quite good signal for us to note that the foreign capitals are allowed to enter Chinese market more conveniently. I think Jieyang could be an outstanding example of Sino-German cooperation, indicating the developing direction for the other regions in China. I hope that Jieyang colleagues can make good use of the opportunity and I am willing to provide the full support. The accomplishment of the project depends on the entrepreneurs. And the market needs to offer a fair-and-square order to the German enterprises which are eager to enter Chinese market. Regarding to the federal government, we will spare no effort to beef up the investment cooperation and promote the international trading on the basis of mutual benefits.
