In the afternoon of Nov. 19^th, a delegation of German entrepreneurs led by CEO of RSBK GmbH Rudolf Scharping visited Jieyang and had a meeting with the MRUJ about the project of Sino-German Metal Eco-City, and then both sides had a signing ceremony for projects of Sino-German Metal Eco-City in Jieyang. The German delegation went to Guangzhou to attend the opening ceremony of the office of Sino-German Metal Eco-City in Guangzhou. Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Guangdong Committee, Director of Provincial Intellectual Property Office Tao Kaiyuan, Secretary of the CPC Jieyang Municipal Committee,Director of Standing Committee of Municipal People’s Congress Chen Lyuping, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Provincial Government Liu Xiaojie and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jieyang Municipal Committee, Mayor of Municipal Government Chen Dong also attended the ceremony.

    In a series of signing activities, Sino-German Metal Eco-City got 7 projects signed in Jieyang and Guangzhou, including the cooperation agreement with HochschuleDarmstadt University of Applied Sciences on building the Sino-German University of Applied Sciences, the cooperation agreement with Fraunhofer IPK, the cooperation agreement on investment in the park with FRANK GmbH, thecooperation agreement on building a demonstration area of intellectual property with Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Office, the cooperation framework agreement on building Sino-German Metal Eco-City with Guangdong Rising Assets Management Co., Ltd. and so on. The signing of the projects is a breakthrough of enterprises entering the park for investment, and it marks the substantive progress of the construction of Sino-German Metal Eco-City, which will enhance technical support and development potential of the transformation and upgrading of the Jieyang industry.

    In the meantime, the opening ceremony of the office of Sino-German Metal Eco-City in Guangzhou marks that the cooperation between China and German has entered a new stage of normalization and institutionalization development,greatly promoting close communication, common prosperity and development between Chinese enterprises and German enterprises.

    on Nov.19^th, before the signing ceremony, Chen Lyuping met with the delegation on behalf of municipal party committee and government, and extended a warm welcome to them. Chen Lyuping expressed that the signing of a series of new cooperation agreements is the breakthrough in solving the key issues of development and enterprises entering the park for investment. It means that two key issues about dealing with the treatment of polluted industrial wastewater and the training of talents have made substantive progress. Chenhopes that more German entrepreneurs would come to Jieyang for investigation and promote the construction of Sino-German Metal Eco-City.

    Rudolf Scharping speaks highly of the staged achievements in the construction of Sino-German Metal Eco-City. He expresses that he will promote bilateral cooperation with foreward looking and positive actions. Meanwhile, he will try his best to provide more technical support for Jieyang enterprises and the improvement of Jieyang’s product quality.
