Feb.25, Rudolf Scharping, CEO of RSBK GmbH led the delegation to have on-the-spot investigation in China Southern Metal Eco-City, accompanied by related Jieyang leaders such as Mayor of Jieyang Chen Dong, Deputy Mayor Chen Chengmin, governors of Jiedong District Wu Pinghe and Lin Binghua, Chairman of Metal Enterprises Union of Jieyang Wu Kedong, etc.

      The delegation first arrived at China Southern Metal Eco-City on site. Chen Dong and Lin Binghua introduced the general layout of Metal Eco-City to Mr. Scharping, saying that the construction of the project would follow the planning with the orientation of ‘one center (industrial cluster center), two bases (production processing base and trade logistics base), three platforms (scientific and technological innovation platform, e-commerce platform and financial service platform)’ to set up seven plates of China ‘Metal raw materials trading center, Metal industry R&D and design center, Metal products manufacturing center, Metal machinery manufacturing center, Metal products sales center, Metal industry technician base, Metal industry financial center’. Afterwards, the delegation went to visit the construction land of ZhongDe University of Technology, listening to the Jieyang relevant leaders’ introduction of the university on the planning, layout, living infrastructures and surrounding construction planning.

       Rudolf Scharping said that Jieyang was a very charming place for investment, and China Southern (Jieyang) Metal Eco-City was a project of great development potential, that in this time the investigation and talks with the delegation further promoted the cooperation of China-Germany industrial projects. Meanwhile, he was going to take the information of Jieyang industrial development advantages and good investment environment to Germany for publicity, hoping that more and more German enterprises and commercial delegation would come to Jieyang for investigation and investment in the future.
